~big bad wolf book fair 2011~

i was so excited over this book fair, that i was practically sweating the day before.

that bad huh.

so i took a half day leave on the first day of the book fair. since my office is near to maeps, i don't think i need to take a one-day leave.

well i was not the only one for sure.

there were 9 people in front of me. and i arrived 2 HOURS before it opened. wuhuu. dunno what time they all arrived.

and  the queue behind me grew like flowers in the rain, an hour before it opened, till i can't see the end of it.

at least not like THAT PERSON, whom i can hear her prancing and jumping around with joy every time she gave me a call to gossip about the book fair. ho ho ho. :P

i was so so so excited that i took only 1 HOUR to finish shopping. with reason; tangan dah lenguh heret kotak because tak larat nak angkat dah, plus saya tidak arif seperti mereka2 yang membawa luggage bag mereka. i brought only my ikea bag. bubuh 2 buku dah macam nak patah bahu. kau, mata buntang tahap terhebat, tangan tak berenti mencapai2 buku dan campak dalam kotak, sedar2 dah berat. and dalam heret kotak berat tu, on the way to the cashier, sempat grab books lagi. until ada one volunteer tengok and rasa kesian, he offered to carry my box until to the cashier.

halfway through my grabbing madness, CikLin arrived. tu pun tau because Abe Adib came to tell me, CikLin ada kat sana. and i can see her eyes so buntang hahaha. glittering macam jumpa lubuk emas. dengan shopping cart nya. yeehaa arriba arriba.
we met and had a brief talk je, because........ (too much joy, can't find the right words for it)

masuk kereta baru sedar tudung dah senget benget. oh but the joy it brings! oh oh oh. just can't express it in words.

and because of that, i took the liberty to go there again, on the next day itself. can't bring myself to wait until the next weekdays dah. saturday pun saturday lah.

this time around, i was smarter, brought along a small (small so that i won't shop till i dropdeadgorgeous) luggage bag. and Izam. asset penting tuh Izam haha.

pergh. i should have brought it sooner. the luggage bag i mean, bukan Izam. haha.

this time i attacked the cooking section and the hobbies&crafts section. the day before i only hang around the non fiction and children sections. but i was wiser. cewah poyo. i flipped through every books i grabbed first before deciding to place it in my luggage. place ok. not campak anymore. so sopan you.

Izam, being so matang he is, bought what i may call as, 'serious' books only. nampak matang sket la rak buku i hoho.

and since we took our own sweet time in choosing the books, we finally stopped after 3+ hours of digging.

on sunday, i had to rearrange the books on my bookshelves to accommodate the newcomers. kalau boleh takmo beli extra rak kan.

oh did i mention......

I LEFT MY CREDIT CARD AT THE CASHIER COUNTER ON THE FIRST DAY OF MY SHOPPING MADNESS??

careless me. pang pangg.

kebuntangan mata dan kewarasan otak belum kembali normal walaupun dah swipe cc. maka terjadilah isu di mana, tengah jalan kaki ke kereta, sambil excited melompat2 borak ngan Izam on the phone, maybank called. in short, she said the cashier officer said i left my cc at the cashier and i was like, omg i did that???

but alhamdulillah, mereka sangat jujur. they returned back my cc; the officer gave me a weird look. so far takde lagi la transaction pelik2.

and after tonnes of books arranged neatly on the shelves.

i am still with my sudoku book.
